The (Almost) Whole Menagerie

These two photos show nearly all of my telescopes, all set up and being used at once.  There is, of course, the LX200GPS 12", with the Televue 85 still piggy-backed on it.  Along with that primary setup is my oldest telescope, the Celestron Celestar Deluxe Computerized 8" SCT.  Also shown is my newest telescope, the Coronado PST (more on that below) and an old ETX-90 OTA mounted on Televue Telepod Head and a photographic tripod (my favorite is the Manfrotto/Bogen 3236).  Notice the Kendrick solar filter attached to that tube.  Finally, my binocular setup is also shown.  That is made up of a Celestron Ultima 20x80 pair of binoculars mounted to a Blaho Stedi-Vue parallelogram mount, all attached to a photo tripod (another Bogen 3236).  About the only equipment I own that isn't shown here is my older Celestron 80mm wide-field refractor (occasionally used for piggyback guiding) and my ETX-90EC Autostar-driven grab-and-go telescope.  All of this equipment has been set up for these photos at one of my primary observing/photography sites, the Cincinnati Astronomical Society's dark-sky site in Adams County, Ohio.
