Personal Solar Telescope (PST)

This is my latest telescope acquisition, a Coronado Personal Solar Telescope (PST).  It's an AMAZING value and a great performer.  The unique thing shown in these pictures is how I've mounted it to an old ETX-90RA fork, circa 1996.  With a little 1/4" aircraft aluminum plate, the fork is well set up to take the PST or any small telescope with a 1/4" photo tripod mounting hole.  In this configuration, with the adapted ETX base mounted on the Meade #884 tripod and the tripod head tilted at the appropriate latitude setting, the PST tracked for over 45 minutes with no perceptible movement of the sun's image in the field of view.
